Another Nigerian team celebrated triumph at the Gothia Cup following Sporting Supreme's win of the U-18 Boys category on Saturday in Sweden, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Abuja club side completed a three-peat for Nigeria, winning the U-18 category after beating Varbergs BoIS FC of Sweden in the final at Gamla Ulevi.
This comes after Beyond Limits of Ikenne, Ogun State, won the U-17 category, while the Nigerian Eagles emerged winners in the U-16 category.
Supreme won all matches before the final, including beating fellow Abuja-based club side Mailantarki Care FC, via penalties after a goalless affair. They scored 33 goals and conceded once to reach the final.
Ebrima Manneh opened the score in the 8th minute before Ahmed Njundu Kanyi doubled the lead on 26 minutes before the end of the first half.
In the second half, Ahmed Njundu Kanyi made it 3-0 in the 39th minute before the icing on the cake on 45 minute, which sealed victory for Sporting Supreme.
