Gift Orban to join U-23 team for Guinea clash
Man of the moment, Gift Orban is reported to join the Nigeria U-23 men's team for their CAF U23 African Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea in Abuja., Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.
The 20-year-old Gent forward has been in imperious form scoring twelve goals in eight matches with the recent being his three minutes hattrick in the Europa Conference League on Wednesday.
There have been clamour for his call to the senior national team or the U-23 Eagles and that call by Nigerians seem to have been heeded.
"I can confirm to you that Gent forward, Gift Orban has been invited and will join the team before our game against Guinea on Wednesday," The team official confirmed to BSN
The first leg of the two legged affair will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Wednesday while the second leg will take place few days later.
