Reports are rife the Nigerian FA decided against playing the Black Stars in an international friendly next month in favour of a date with Niger.

The proposed friendly match between the West African giants was to be played in London.

But GFA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara says no offer was received about a friendly with Nigeria.

"We had no offer from Nigeria," he said.

"We heard nothing from them."

Ghana is likely to play Congo early next month in a friendly before traveling away to face Rwanda in a 2017 AFCON qualifier.
