Ghana defender Daniel Opare says he is looking forward to joining his new team mates after signing a three year deal with German side Augsburg.

The former Real Madrid Castilla player ended a frustrating one year spell with FC Porto where injuries and loss in form limited his impact on the field.

The 24-year-old says he is looking forward to linking up with his new team mates after signing a three year deal with Augsburg.

“Hi FC Augsburg fans my name is Daniel Opare I am here now and I am very happy to join the family,” Opare said

“I can’t wait to link up with my new team mates.”

The Ghana international was a member of Ghana’s team which failed to make the knock out stages of the world cup in Brazil.
