As the team prepare to meet the United States of America at the ongoing FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, Nigeria's Coach, Bankole Olowookere has declared his readiness for victory in the encounter.

 

Following qualification to the quarter finals after their last group match win, the Flamingos are set to play the United States of America.

 

And Coach Olowookere said he will be going for a win despite the pedigree of his opposition.

 

The gaffer at the aftermath of his team's win over Chile where he was asked what his thoughts were as Nigeria is to play the US team.

 

He said "There is much respect for them, they are Super power nation, but I tell you I am going for the winning"

 

"I believe if we work hard and correct those loop holes in the team, I believe we will be able to face the USA."

 

He went further to thank Nigerians for their prayers and support and urges them to continue to support as they will not let the nation down.

 

The team will square against the United States of America in the quarter finals on Friday in Mumbai.
