Despite winning all their group games and getting maximum 9 points, the Falconets lost 0-2 to the Netherlands in the quarter-final of the competition and midfielder, Esther Onyenezide is still in pain.

Onyenezide, one of Nigeria best legs at the tournament, said she is yet to get over the defeat as they have high hope of going all the way to the final but admitted being grateful to God for the opportunity to appear n her first FIFA World Cup.

"Still in tears and pains as our U20WWC campaign came to an abrupt end. Had high hopes and confidence about our chances but God knows best.

Inspite all, I'm grateful for the exposure and experience earned from my first FIFAWWC appearance.

She scored 3 goals for Nigeria in the competition.
