The home-based Super Eagles camp in Ikenne has welcomed five additional players as preparations for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) continue, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The new arrivals, confirmed by team media officer Promise Efoghe, are Musa Zayad (El-Kanemi Warriors), Aminu Adam (Kano Pillars), Anas Yusuf (Nasarawa United), Godwin Obaje (Rivers United), and Kabiru Mohammed (Kwara United).
The inclusion of the five players brings the total number in camp to 26, all of whom took part in Tuesday evening's training session under the watchful eye of head coach Eric Chelle.
Nigeria qualified for the 2025 CHAN after edging out Ghana, marking their return to the tournament after three consecutive absences.
The competition, featuring players from domestic leagues, will see Nigeria's Super Eagles B team face Senegal, Sudan, and Congo in Group D.
The Super Eagles are in intensive training, determined to make a strong impression at the regional tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
