CAFCC: Nigeria Ambassador to Luanda receives Rivers United
Rivers United of Nigeria were received on Friday by the representatives of the Nigerian Ambassador to Luanda, upon arrival to Angola ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Rivers United's contingent was received by the representative of the Nigeria Ambassador to Luanda, consular staff and some members of the Nigerian community in Luanda.
The team was welcomed to a rousing reception on arrival at the Aeroporto Internacional 4 de Fevereiro Luanda and further hosted to lunch at the embassy by the Nigerian ambassador to Angola, Her Excellency Professor Monique Ekpong.
Rivers United will confront DC Motema Pembe on Sunday February 26 at the Estádio 11 de Novembro stadium in Talatona (near Luanda), Angola.
