CAFCC: Motema Pembe departs Luanda for Nigeria

Ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match day 4 against Nigeria's Champions Rivers United, DC Motema Pembe left Luanda, the capital of Angola via a chartered flight to Nigeria on Wednesday night, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

The match between Rivers United and DC Motema Pembe was scheduled to take place on Wednesday 8th March, 2024, however the visitors did not show up and the reason yet to be made public either by the club and CAF.

According to Rivers United, the game have been shifted to Thursday 9th March, 2023 with the visitors now on their way to Nigeria.

Rivers United won the first leg 1-0 in Luanda to go top of group B then and a win against Motema today will put them a step closer to the quarterfinals.
