Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has expressed his ambition to represent Nigeria at the FIFA World Cup, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 24-year-old in his 5 appearances for Nigeria has contributed 2 goals and one assist.
Fisayo ahead of the game against Rwanda on Saturday (today) discussed with Nigeria journalist Victor Ademola on the importance of being at the big football fiesta.
"The World Cup, that's the biggest stage for a footballer in your career, especially playing for your country." He said
The Super Eagles are currently preparing for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa, with Dele-Bashiru's teammates focused on the immediate task of securing wins in these matches.
Nigeria sits fourth in Group C with seven points, trailing leaders South Africa who have 16 points with a match more.
