Beyond Limits arrive US for Generation Adidas Cup
Nigeria's club side, Beyond Limits Football Academy have arrived the United States of America for the Generation Adidas Cup on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Remo Stars Football Academy will be participating in the international event for the first time and have travelled with 18 players and three coaches.
They arrived Florida aboard a flight from the Muritala International Airport, Lagos on Thursday and have began acclimatizing themselves to the environment.
The competition is a premier global youth tournament featuring all Major League Soccer, MLS academies and renowned international clubs.
The 2023 Generation adidas Cup returns this weekend in Bradenton, FL with the largest field in tournament history, including all 29 MLS academies and over 10 countries represented.
"A record 49 different clubs from 12 countries and four continents will compete in U-17 and U-15 tournament play at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida from April 1-9", a statement from the organisers said.
Beyond Limits will alongside other international academies like Arsenal FC (England), Boca Juniors (Argentina), Chelsea FC (England), Club América (Mexico), Manchester United FC (England), Palmeiras (Brazil), Real Madrid (Spain).
