Atletico Madrid considering lucrative offer from unnamed Ghanaian side to play friendly in Africa

Atletico Madrid have received an irresistible offer to travel to Ghana to play a friendly with an unnamed Premier League side next month.

According to the Spanish publication Marca, the friendly will be played on 08 August.

It is believed that the deal is a lucrative offer and the club’s board in conjunction with the coaching staff headed by coach Diego Simeone are considering.

GHANASoccernet.com understands, the Spanish side have been offered US$ 1m; worldwide audiovisual rights including Ghana and more.

The dethroned La Liga champions are contemplating flying down straight to Ghana after playing a friendly with Asamoah Gyan's Shanghai SIPG on 4 August or regroup in Spain.

Atletico are bent on embarking on the trip to Africa to enhance their brand overseas.
