Angola was moved to the West Africa zone in administrative terms, for a better follow-up of FIFA, said the Ivorian Sampon Kablan, FIFA representative in the region, during a working meeting with the management board of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF).

According to the officer, the move of Angola from the southern to the western region will give greater visibility to the national football.

"Angolan football has potential, but its actions are not seen. This move will open new relationship between FAF and FIFA, especially in the communications field. Only then we will be connected"- said Sampon Kablan, who is accompanied in this visit to Luanda by his compatriot François Bohe.
