The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been scheduled to hold their first training session on Monday evening ahead of their AFCON 2023 Qualifier against Guinea-Bissau, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The Super Eagles who currently top group A of the qualifiers having picked maximum six points from two games will host Guinea-Bissau at the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Friday by 5:00pm with the return leg holding three days later in Guinea-Bissau.

A win for Nigeria in the two games will see them qualify for AFCON 2023 with two games to spare.

Ahead of the game, Kevin Akpoguma, Moses Simon and Kelechi Iheanacho are said to have arrived Nigeria.

Coach of the team Jose Peseiro invited 23 players for the double-legged tie.
